The use of hydroacoustic technology in the fields of industry and science, particularly in the areas of marine seismic exploration, underwater engineering surveys, and propagation and environmental measurement continue to grow each year.

HAI has developed a continuous impulse source system that is extremely effective in the detection, exploration and assessment of underwater physical characteristics. Examples include the underwater search for oil and natural gas resources.

Additional applications involve exploration and examination of the earth’s surface beneath oceans and lakes.

HAI has systems designed for high-resolution surveys of sub-surface bottom profiles. These systems are used in identifying underwater earthquake fault lines and in the construction of bridges, piers and other over and underwater facilities.
